About Saca studio
OUR STORY
We first started making simple pieces for ourselves, but our craft has now happily become our livelihood. Based in Preveza, Sokratis and Athena, the team behind Saca studio, create handmade bags, functional homeware, furniture made of a mix of local or sustainable hardwood.
What saca offers is something unconventional, since the products are created in the shop's workshop , exactly like in a typical crafts workshop.We design the products thinking about some core values: convinience, simlpicity and quality.
WOOD CARE
All products are treated with food safe Organic oil and beeswax. Never put wooden goods in the dishwasher or leave them soaking in water. Wipe clean with a damp soapy cloth. If prolonged contact with water occurs, the edges may go a little fuzzy when dry. Using a fine grit sandpaper, lightly sand down until smooth and keep well moisturised with wood oil or wax.
BAG CARE
PU leather is coated with water-resistant properties, so you don’t have to worry about accidental spills or dirt being absorbed quickly, leading to odours like in most other materials. You can easily remove grime and dirt to prevent them from being absorbed and form stains. But you’ll be in for some trouble if it is left to sit for weeks. Cleaning is an easy, quick process: PU leather should be dusted with a dry or slightly damp lint free cloth.
Leather - Wipe your bag with a clean, dry cloth after every use — it might be tiresome, but it’s a small sacrifice to prolong your bag’s longevity.
